www.virtualhistory.co.uk

a gateway to learning private portal site established 1997

100 plus "content over style" sites - 12,000 photographs, images and documents 1.5 Gig of History! Downloadable high quality images on most sites - ideal for schools, students, researchers and all who love history - Freely given to the world - Heritage sans frontieres. Many of the images on the sites are available on CD as higher resolution scans that in many cases will print out to A3. The sites shift about - as the number of hits,  ISP problems with such large web space demands, all work together to try inadvertently to restrict the number of visitors I can get. In 2003 there were over 3.2 million hits spread over the entire 100 + sites portfolio. It`s 2019 now and we are still here - just!

At the very bottom of this page is a list of links that lead to all my web sites, this is correct as of 2019 and may be easier than following the links directly below the images on this page.
